"TAKE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR"

Scripture: Revelation 3:2a

The A clause of this verse reads "wake up and strengthen that which remains".

Recently I went to get a haircut. The barber handed me the mirror after he had spent time cutting my hair and shaving my face. I jokingly told the barber that I did not need the mirror because if I did not like what he had cut off he would not be able to put it back. He said "Bishop, the mirror is not just to see what I took off but it's to see if I need to do anything with what's left."

How often do we look at life from the perspective of what we have lost rather than concentrating on what remains. The message from the barber is enough for you to go on today. Take a look in the mirror but don't look for what has been taken. Look at what remains and then concentrate on strengthening that.
