"HE'S ALREADY PROVIDED"
Scripture: Matthew 6:8

"......... For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him."


Recently my nephew and I had the task of painting and removing all of the items from a building that we were renting. The project was taking longer than we had anticipated and we only had a few hours before the building owner would show up to inspect the job. We worked diligently, not even pausing to go to lunch because we knew that if we left the project we would not be back and finished before the owner arrived. Both of us were hungry but duty was calling louder than our hunger pains.

To our amazement, we looked out into the parking lot and a food truck had parked, raised up its panels, anchored and fired up a bar-b-que grill, and a line of employees from other businesses were standing waiting on a choice of ribs, chicken, hamburgers, sausage, sliced or pulled pork, potato salad, cold slaw, sweet tea and other soft drinks. I looked at my nephew and said, "Now that's God knowing what you need before you can ask him."

Not only does He know the things that you have need of before you ask, but He will also meet the need. If there is a need in your life today, God has already provided. John 1:16 reads, "From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another." Live your life knowing that God has already provided.
