"BEWARE OF HACKERS" Recently I received an email from someone that I am closely connected to. The way the email addressed me and the words used made me suspicious. It did not sound like something this individual would say. I sent the individual a text asking if they had sent an email and they responded "no! I've been hacked." A hacker had somehow gained access to his computer system and was sending messages claiming to be him.
Because I knew the voice of the other individual I could not be deceived by the hacker. We expose our ear to many different voices and we are open to receive any word that people bring us. Be warned that every word is not from God and every messenger is not one that He sent. 1 John 4:1 reads, "Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world." The word you received may appear to be coming from God but a hacker may be the sender. The enemy is skilled at manipulating the Word of God and having it appear to be saying something that it does not. You only know God's voice by studying His word. Read it consistently and you will not be deceived by the enemies hacking. The voice of God will never contradict the Word of God. |
