"USE WHAT YOU HAVE"

Recently I was enjoying a summer evening grilling some ribs. I like to spray the ribs with apple juice to keep them moist, add depth to the flavor and it gives them a nice color that makes your mouth water when you look at them. I was in the middle of grilling and discovered that I did not have any apple juice. I scrambled through the pantry but the only juice I found was some white grape juice. It was then that I decided to use what I had and discovered that the ribs had a better taste and they looked ready for the front of a cooking magazine.

Sometimes God will allow us to be short of what we think we need in order that He can push us to use what we have. Miracles happen when we learn to use what we have. When God was preparing Moses to lead Israel out of Egyptian bondage, He asked him a question, "what is that in your hand". His response was "a rod." When they finally get to the Red Sea, God commanded that he stretch forth that same rod and God performed the miracle of parting the Red Sea.

How much of your life have you wasted trying to find what you think you need? We waste success trying to find it. Use what you have and you will discover that it may be better than what you are looking for.
